A Global Gathering to Transform Education with GeoGebra: Second Edition in Coimbra, 2025

Since its creation by Markus Hohenwarter, GeoGebra has become a globally recognised tool, widely used by millions of educators and learners who develop and share educational materials through digital platforms. Following the success of the first edition of this international conference, held in 2023 in the city of Córdoba, Spain, we are pleased to announce the second edition, which will take place in the historic city of Coimbra, Portugal, in 2025.

The aim of this event is to foster the exchange of innovative classroom practices, teaching materials, and research findings related to the use of GeoGebra as an educational resource across different educational levels and international contexts. It will bring together teachers and researchers from around the globe to share their insights through keynote speeches, presentations, and posters.

In this second edition, we seek to build on the impact of GeoGebra in education, driving a meaningful methodological transformation that promotes more dynamic, inclusive, and effective teaching practices. We warmly invite all those interested in mathematics, science, and STEAM education to join this valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, explore new perspectives, and collectively advance the use of GeoGebra as a transformative tool in education.
